No banners, no ad networks, no selling your data to anyone. The site is not trying to sell you anything.
- Anonymous statistics
To know which pages people read and where they stop, we look at general visit statistics: page, language, country, device type. No names, no profiles, and no following you around outside this site.
- Settings stay in your browser
Theme, volume, “Myth or fact” answers, the “whole Requiem” mode and the name from the moment of remembrance are stored in your browser only. They are sent nowhere and disappear the moment you clear the site's data.
- Letters and feedback
When you write through the form or by email, we see the text, and your address if you gave one. We use them only to reply and to fix what you wrote about.
- Contributions
Payments happen on Patreon's side under its own rules. We never see or store card details.
- Where the site lives
Pages and audio are hosted on AWS in the Frankfurt region. Server logs are kept briefly and only to protect against abuse.
- Your rights
Write to the project address and we will show you, or delete, everything we hold about you. It is a few rows in a database, so it really is quick.
